Brainstorm Blog 2

For our second project where we will be conveying a message or feeling through sounds, I would like create a dark ambiance while telling a story of someone going about their day and then running into a crazy out of this world event. I will make use of different sound effects when this happens to create the feeling of things going from seemingly normal into crazy, weird, and dark. This will obviously be affected by what sounds I can find in the shared folder. I hope to take some very recognizable sounds and distort them into sounds that make you real think about what they are. I think that with sound I can also create an unsettling feeling by messing with off patterns and slightly off rhythms so the views mind is thrown off and made uncomfortable. I think one thing that will be hard is that I know that I will be inclined to add elements that reflect "normal" musical patterns exactly like we aren't supposed to do.
